Mylie the Candy Witch

A short story of Mylie the Candy Witch (by Tim).

One day Mylie the Candy Witch came about to collect her regular candy tax. "Bring me out your candy and put it in my buckets" she said:



"No!" we replied. She was angry:



But we were persistent, no candy for the Mylie Witch. But she was very mad. "Get me the candy!" she screamed, throwing her hat on the floor:



With a face like that, who wouldn't give in? So we filled her buckets... she really likes candy:



And thus, Mylie the Candy Witch, was pleasant again.

Summer Trip To The Beach

After a three day trip across our wonderful country in a big white passenger van stuffed full of children, we successfully made it to South Carolina. We had the best of times with our family at Myrtle Beach, then headed back home. The little ones want to go back again. They think we can just jump in the car and be there tomorrow. Their sense of time is a little off. I'd like to go to the beach again, but California is much closer. Maybe the next family reunion can be there.

Our First Posting - Hello Everyone!

Well to try to reach all our family out of state, we are going to try a blog. Now you can see the kids in all the crazy things they do. Hopefully I will get better with this as time goes on. If not, well it was a good attempt. Let me know if you like it.
